This 7-day water-themed safari includes the famous Luwero Triangle, Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison River, the River Nile, and the Budongo Forest. As well as trekking through a variety of terrains and getting up close with a number of wild animals including rhino, lions, elephants, and chimps, the Challenger will also shadow the locals as they build clean water wells in their community. The clean water project aims to implement better sources of clean water, as well as increase general knowledge and practices of good hygienic behavior in communities. These efforts will reduce sanitation related illness, which will lead to an increase in overall productivity in the community. Challengers are encouraged to add an extra 3 days to get up-close with gorillas.
