If you are looking comfort filled summer that is environmentally conscious, then Orri de Planes is the place for you. Eco friendly in nature, the lodge is being run by a family where they offer different types of accommodations:
Through L’Orri, you will receive a room in the guesthouse that accommodates 26 guests. You get your own room with sound proofing, comfortable beds and a central heating system. Also, there is a living room with a built in library along with a kid’s corner whereas you can take your meals in the dining area with a lovely fire crackling beside you. With a night stay, you are served dinner whereas half board gets you a dinner; all of it made organically and through locally available material.
El Refugi is a perfect stay for hikers. Accommodating up to 16 people at a time, it has a large dormitory space and a fully functioning kitchen. Room booking is done according to the number of beds or as a group.
Les Terrasses is the perfect option for nature lovers. Being a green hotel, we love everything outside! We provide a campground and tents for the campers to spend the night in. The site is located near a running stream on the shadier side of the mountain. This offer can be availed only from June to September onwards.
The tourists can also enjoy the pleasure of a warm swimming pool, terraces and barbecue parties! In summers, they can hike, fish, swim, rock climb and in winters, skiing, snow shoeing and sledding as a skiing station, Saint Pierre dels Forcats is only 3 km away whereas Saint Thomas hot mineral springs is just an hour walk.
The Orri proved its eco friendliness by gaining a Green Label key thanks to their environmental management policies and in 2008 managed to bag the Ecorismo-Primagaz prize for Energy Savings.
