A great healthy walk alongside the wonderful river Thames.
The Urban Orchard is a Magical Space that has been created by a project as a part of the London Festival of architecture.
85 trees make up the orchard as well as a whole host of wonderful plants. The orchard will be there from 19 June – 19 August after which the garden will be dismantled and all the plants and trees will go out into Bankside. It is an urban oasis built in the site of a new building, the Orchard team have got hold of it over the summer to create a little piece of paradise.
The Urban Orchard is also home to the LivingARK, a zero-carbon pod which is inhabited during the period of the project to showcase sustainable ways of living.
