Get inspired for your next adventure holiday with Facing Waves, a TV series featuring 30-minute episodes about the world best destinations for canoe, raft and stand up paddleboard experiences. The show explores each destination from a unique point of view following top athletes in these water sports and telling about inspiring places and attractions in the area.
Now in its 3rd season, one of the episodes will be dedicated to Ireland’s “Wild Atlantic Way”, a 2500km coastal road on the Western side of Ireland, renowned for its untamed nature, scenic drives and cultural treasures. The famous route is running from Donegal on the north end to Cork in the south, covering the Connemara, the spectacular cliffs, colourful peninsulas reaching out to the ocean and welcoming villages. It offers excellent spots for stand up paddling and surfing. One thing is sure: one trip will not be enough to see them all.
