France Passion is a network for motorhome travellers who wish to travel and taste local and authentic French products. This initiative – launched 22 years ago – was the answer to a growing number of motorhome travellers looking to experience rural France and to the interest from the wine growers and farmers keen to share their know-how and products.
No app is available yet. The yearly printed guide lists over 1800 addresses all around France and works as an invitation from winegrowers and farmers.
Each host is committing to welcome motorhomes to stay for one overnight on his grounds. In return, the guests have to travel with a self-contained motorhome and are respecting essential rules of courtesy. This is hospitality at its best. And more often than not, the guests are leaving with some tasty delicacies and wines and new friendships and shared stories.
The concept has expanded to further countries in Europe and you can also find similar networks in Italy, Spain, Great-Britain, Switzerland and lately Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
