The Castrum Hadriani, set in the beautiful scenery that hosts Villa Adriana, Villa d'Este and Villa Gregoriana, in a unique context between history and culture, is the reconstruction of a Roman military camp and the seat of the
Historical Group Rome Aeterna.
Inside there is a museum, a ludus gladiatorus and an arena, where the training and courses of the gladiator school Munera Gladiatoria take place.
Its structures, always updated, are made without masonry works and made up of waste wood and recycled:
its construction took place respecting the surrounding nature.
Inside, in addition to the activities of historical re-enactment and reconstruction archeology, it is possible to organize cultural meetings, shows but also parties, for adults and children.
The Gladiators' School Munera Gladiatoria offers courses of ars gladiatoria nearby the beautiful Villa Adriana! Gladiators, in complate safety and in compliance with age of students, will learn to fight with many kind of instruments, from wood swords to heavy weapons, such as the gladius. At last, the students will get back a diploma, which will bring his/her new gladiator name (in latin).
