I've been chased by baboons, gone fishing in the Caribbean, diving in the Red Sea, and lost my way in the Sahara Desert - life has treated me well!
I hold a B.Sc. in Biology (Specialization Ecology) from Concordia University, Montréal (2006) and a M.Sc. in Management, Access, Conservation and Trade in Species with distinction from the International University of Andalusia, Spain (2008). I am currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the International University of Andalusia. My Ph.D. research focuses on the potential use of sustainable tourism as a tool for conserving biodiversity, particularly in fragile ecosystems, within the framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
