The Dead Sea has always been one of the most intriguing natural wonders known to man. Travelers head for its waters to soak in the rich salts and minerals, take a mud bath, and lie back effortlessly on the surface. It is an out of this world experience to immerse yourself in the Dead Sea, even just for a while. Dead Sea - Israel & Jordan

The Dead Sea, also known as the Sea of Salt, is a massive salt lake spread between Israel and the West Bank to the west and Jordan on the east. At 1,385 feet below sea level, it is said that the shores of the salt lake are the lowest on earth. The Dead Sea is 1,240 feet deep, which makes it the deepest hyper saline lake in the world.

World of Festivals

Prat?tyasamutp?da. Does that word say anything to you? If not, that's perfectly understandable, because that word is in Sanskrit. The meaning of this word is one of the most cardinal principle of Buddhism, and as I believe it is also the real essence of ecotourism. In English, Prat?tyasamutp?da means "Dependent Origination" - or in words that us mortals can understand, you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you. So basically all that you are and all of the actions you take in your life has an impact on the world and the people in it.
