Pirin National park - Bulgaria

Now a world UNESCO heritage site, the Pirin national park sits in the Pirin Mountains in Bulgaria. Covering around 270 square kilometres the Pirin national park is adorned with around 80 glacial lakes and forests that tower nearly 3000 meters high into the mountains.

Any eco tourists considering a visit should do so sooner rather than later. Despite the parks protected status, there are still ongoing threat to the countryside and there is no guarantee that the area will retain its astounding beauty forever.

Korup national park - Cameroon

Any eco tourist planning a trip to Cameroon will not be disappointed with the wonderful array of flora and fauna that can be found. Cameroon is a beautiful country with many national parks worth visiting, however, today we are going to concentrate on Korup.

Jigme Dorji National Park

Located in the Gasa district of Bhutan sits the Jigme Dorji National Park. The second largest national park in the country it stretches well over 4000 square kilometres and has a huge variety of different species of fauna, flora and birdlife.

Any eco-tourist visiting the park will probably be most taken with its amazing biological diversity. The park itself houses a virtual plethora of endangered species and is a must see location for green travellers with a love for wildlife.
