Iguazu National Park - Argentina

First established as a national park in 1934 Iguazu national park is probably the most stunning of all of Argentina's parks. A haven for the eco-tourist this park is home to many beautiful sites and a range of stunning landscape, the most notable of which is the world famous Iguazu waterfalls.

Located on the border between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu waterfall is something to behold. At 80 meters high and with a diameter of nearly 3km the only way to really appreciate the waterfalls are to see them in the flesh.

Dead Sea - Israel & Jordan

The Dead Sea, also known as the Sea of Salt, is a massive salt lake spread between Israel and the West Bank to the west and Jordan on the east. At 1,385 feet below sea level, it is said that the shores of the salt lake are the lowest on earth. The Dead Sea is 1,240 feet deep, which makes it the deepest hyper saline lake in the world.

William Bay National Park - Denmark, Western Australia

Not to be confused with Denmark in Europe, William Bay National Park lies on the south west coast of Australia and is a real sight for any green traveller looking for a taste of heaven. Established in 1971 this park is one of Australia's most established parts due to its unspoiled scenery and warm climate.

The Cairngorms - Scotland

Cano Crystales (Crystal River or the River of Five Colours) Colombia

A unique biological wonder, Ca?o Cristales has been referred as the "river of five colours," "the river that ran away from paradise," and "the most beautiful river in the world." For most of the year, Ca?o Cristales is indistinguishable from any other river - a bed of rocks covered in dull green mosses which are visible below a cool, clear current. However, for a brief period of time every year, the river blossoms in a vibrant explosion of colours.

Lake Baikal - Russia

Lake Baikal sits in Southern Siberia in Russia, located between Irkutsk Oblast to the northwest and the Buryat Republic to the southeast, near the city of Irkutsk. Also known as the "Blue Eye of Siberia," it contains more water than all the North American Great Lakes combined. At 1,637 meters (5,371 ft), Lake Baikal constitutes the deepest lake in the world, and the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume, holding approximately 20 percent of the world's total surface fresh water.
