Greenwashing Award 2010' goes to a Brazilian company Yaguarete Por? S.A., for bulldozing an uncontacted tribe's land for beef in Paraguay. The winner of this 'competition' has been named by Survival - an international organization supporting tribal peoples worldwide since 1969.

South Africa Ranked as Ethical Destination

The forthcoming host of the 19th FIFA World Cup, South Africa, has been listed in the developing world's 'Top 10 Best Ethical Destinations'. This list is published by Ethical Traveler, California-based non-profit organization 'empowering travelers to change the world'. The other most ethical destinations of 2009/2010 are; Argentina, Belize, Chile, Ghana, Lithuania, Namibia, Poland, Seychelles and Surinam.

Gli abitanti dell'isola di Pasqua, piccolo paradiso terrestre disperso nell'Oceano Pacifico a 4.000 chilometri da Santiago (Cile), non vogliono pi? n? turisti n? immigrati. Su 5.000 abitanti, i 1.300 elettori aventi diritto, hanno approvato, con un grande maggioranza, una riforma che pone una serie di vincoli all'ingresso sull'isola.

Dolomites, a new Natural World UNESCO Heritage

One of the most magical area in the Italian Alps the Dolomites are on the news. Sevilla, Spain, on June 26, 2009 the UNESCO assembly has, on their annual meeting, confirmed the Dolomites as a Natural World Heritage providing this area a world wide prestige. So the Dolomites now legitimately belong to the most beautiful mountains in the world.

Majestic peaks, sweeping landscapes and geological and botanical peculiarities make them a worldwide unique artwork made by mother nature.
