The Mynatour team loves hearing about others’ experiences on the road just as much as we love researching the blog posts we write ourselves.

If you’ve got a story to tell or a must share experience about your best ever holiday we’d encourage you to share it with us. We promise to read everything we’re sent and once it’s posted we’ll give you a £5 Amazon voucher as a sign of our thanks.

Here are a few of the things we’re looking for:

MY TRIP TO MALI: HALT IN TERYA BUGU - 192 votes

Let's try to close our eyes and imagine we happen to be in West Africa in the 60's. Colonialism has just come to an end, the French military troupes have left and only African heads of state still have their headquarters in the governmental palaces of the whole region.

World of Festivals

Prat?tyasamutp?da. Does that word say anything to you? If not, that's perfectly understandable, because that word is in Sanskrit. The meaning of this word is one of the most cardinal principle of Buddhism, and as I believe it is also the real essence of ecotourism. In English, Prat?tyasamutp?da means "Dependent Origination" - or in words that us mortals can understand, you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you. So basically all that you are and all of the actions you take in your life has an impact on the world and the people in it.

Apero with perspectives

There are many ways to enjoy an apero with your friends. One of the best ones I experienced until today was in the southern hemisphere springtime, as we were visiting our friend and bride-to-be in New Zealand. If you have the chance one day to go to New Zealand, take the time to visit the Bay of Islands in the Northern part of the North Island. There, hundreds of islands are creating a unique and protected environment for many species such as dolphins and kiwis.
